As we come into the beautiful spring season here on the East Coast of the USA, I am inspired to write about symptoms which I have been observing.
The dictionary defines psychosomatic as: (of a physical illness or other condition) caused or aggravated by a mental factor such as internal conflict or stress
and
• of or relating to the interaction of mind and body.
The mass consciousness of our species has not yet reached the state of taking responsibility for our experiences. Our health is a large part of our experience over which we have unpracticed influence!
Recently a client of mine said “Just the THOUGHT of pollen makes my allergies act up!” I stopped her and said, “Do you realize what you are saying? The thought is triggering a physical response!” By that logic, A THOUGHT OF WELLNESS SHOULD TRIGGER THE OPPOSITE RESPONSE!
There are often deeper underlying emotional factors that rest in an individual’s system and can cause physical manifestations as well. Taking time to investigate how your emotional and spiritual being impacts your physical body is worthwhile.
Additionally, thinking thoughts of positivity, joy and wellness will go far in promoting overall health and well-being. For help with this, see my E-course, books and coaching services!
