Faith Under Fire; Chaplaincy Experiences<\/p>\n

For the past couple of years I have been a Chaplain at a local hospital, providing spiritual and emotional support to patients, family and staff.<\/p>\n

I have been struck by the profound faith, gratitude and connection to God that many patients in difficult situations display. Regardless of their faith traditions, these beautiful souls have shown me what it means to love and trust God, and the divine unfolding. <\/p>\n

Despite the difficulties that people are enduring, there is an amazing amount of sweetness to be found in these encounters.  After doing so much healing work online, teaching meditation and positive thinking during the quarantine years, it has been refreshing to get back to being with people in person!<\/p>\n

If you have the opportunity to visit the sick, I encourage you to do so. It is considered a good deed in many faith traditions, and it helps one to reflect upon one\u2019s own life. <\/p>\n
