I returned from an amazing seminar in Europe last week. Beyond the positive thinking information that we learned, I have to say, the experience of laughter was one of the most poignant lessons that I received. I laughed more than I have in a long time with the light-hearted people on the trip. I laughed myself to sleep for the first time in my life. But what is this laughter that humans engage in? Why is it so important?
Laughing is what happens when happiness breaks the bounds of a smile, and consumes the entire body. Laughing produces cascades of healthy chemicals throughout the body. And once you are laughing, it is easy to find even more to chuckle about.
Laughter has been shown to increase bonding and to improve communication in social situations as well.
What makes you laugh? Perhaps it is time to work small doses of humor into your schedule for the therapeutic benefits!
In order to achieve laughter, it helps to start by having a positive mindset. Check out my “Think Happy Thoughts”, Positive Thinking E-course if you haven’t already! Click here https://drrahmanbeckwith.blogspot.com/2019/06/books-and-courses.html
